Saturday September 28th, 2019, starting at 4 p.m. The sculptural reproduction of the body of the Miura Jota from Japan will be exhibited at the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum for the first time in Italy, and presented with a special event. For the occasion, the Japanese panel beater Yuiji Watabiki will demonstrate how the body was realized.
The Japanese company GGF-T started the “Project J” in June 2018. With the aim of raising awareness among the younger generations to the automotive passion, Mr. Akama, founder of GGF-T, and his team have created an illustrated editorial series by the artist A. Mizorogi. The project finds expression in the sculpture of the Miura Jota body made of aluminum by the Japanese craftsman Y. Watahiki. Inspired by the traditional workmanship of the panel beater.Y. Watahiki has reproduced the body of the Miura Jota, also in occasion on the 50th anniversary of the legendary racing car developed by the famous car company in a single prototype.
The body of the Miura Jota will be exhibited at the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum until next November 2019.
